Greetings from the armpit of America

Greetings, fellow socialist agitators. As you might've guessed from my name and thread title, I'm a New Jersey comrade, specifically from the densely populated north around Newark and Hackensack. I'm about 30 minutes from Port Authority by bus and, for the moment, I work in Queens until I go back to college a week from now. There I'm active in a number of activist groups and such, none explicitely socialist (the only socialist student group we have here is decidedly revisionist in character, I think connected to the DSA in some way).

My ideological line at the current time is uncertain; over the past 5 years it's flopped around from one thing to another, but more and more Marxist-Leninist-Maoism is beginning to look like a viable and perhaps even desireable political philosophy to study, examine, and perhaps even follow.

Some of the RCPers from New York City may or may not remember me. I was at the Revolution screening a few days ago.. the guy with the OTHER shirt with the gun on it.

On a side note to Andrei who posted the school of the Americas thread, I was there last year an I'll defintely be there this year. Our campus group always sends a sizeable delegation. It's practically a tradition by now.

I might expand this later but for now that'll do. 'Sides, I gotta catch a bus about, oh.. nowish. Bye.

Careful about talking about real-life stuff guys, especially revolutionary-minded boards like this... we don't wanna jeopardize the security of people, events, organizations, etc. like that.
