It has been many years now since Revolution Magazine folded up shop. And it's been a very dynamic time in terms of experiments in the social movements both within the USA and internationally.
A World to Win, the magazine associated with the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement is mainly a forum for official pronouncements of one kind or another and doesn't serve to popularize revolutionary communist ideas.
Has there been any discussion of launching an RC magazine?
If so, I'd recommend Left Turn as an excellent example of a lively and interesting read, both in terms of format and approach. Their politics are "post-revolutionary/socialist" and are totally inadequate.
But right now, after so many young activists jumped on the ABB bandwagon for a perceived lack of options, perhaps the time is right to start arguing hard (and clever, sharp and accessible) for the core principles of the communist movement.
Does anyone have suggestions for quality communist publications of this type?
