NEW YORK -- Jane Fonda says her 1972 visit to a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft-gun site, an incident that brought her the nickname "Hanoi Jane," was a "betrayal" of American forces and of the "country that gave me privilege." "The image of Jane Fonda, Barbarella, Henry Fonda's daughter...sitting on an enemy aircraft gun was a betrayal...the largest lapse of judgment that I can even imagine," Fonda, whose memoir comes out next week, told Lesley Stahl in a 60 Minutes interview that will air Sunday.

Now THAT'S what I call Jane Fonda being a traitor.
I'm being a little flippant in saying that, but yeah--it really sucks that she chooses to say that shit now.

well, lets try to read more of the article this time:
Lest one think the 67-year-old actress and activist might be getting conservative in her old age, Fonda defended going to Hanoi and said she had no regrets about being photographed with American POWs there or making broadcasts on Radio Hanoi because she was trying to stop an unjustified war.
"There are hundreds of American delegations that had met with the POWs," she added. "Both sides were using the POWs for propaganda. . .it's not something that I will apologize for."
Added Fonda: "Our government was lying to us and men were dying because of it, and I felt I had to do anything that I could to expose the lies and help end the war."

What I posted was the entire article verbatim from a newspaper.
I didn't mean to confuse anyone by posting it, or to misrepresent Jane Fonda.
I'll put two and two together and conclude that the editors of the paper deliberately left out what they didn't want to publicize, but only printed the portion of the truth that they found appealing to their right-wing tastes.
